1-18-19 Daily Announcements (Friday)

The unified bowling team has practice after school today until 4:30.


Mrs. Bryant sent out a google form for Academic Team sign ups.  If you have any questions, please see or email Mrs. Bryant.


Reminder that school will be in session on Monday, January 21st.


Any girl interested in playing softball this spring should sign up in the main office.


All FFA members are invited to join the chapter for a private dinner with the Indiana FFA State Officers on Saturday, January 26 from 3-5:30pm. A dance with all District FFA schools will take place after the meal from 6-8:30pm. Please log in to the FFA's google classroom and RSVP for the meal by Wednesday, Jan. 23. You can also make song suggestions in classroom for the dance.


ISTEP results will be sent via email to students who retested.  If you did not pass there will be a meeting Monday or Tuesday next week to discuss next steps.


There will be a girls bowling team walkthrough today at approximately 2:45.  Classes should be in the hallway at 2:45 and we will cheer the girls bowling team on as they compete in Regional this weekend in New Castle.  We are proud of you girls!


The girls basketball game vs. Milan schedule for tomorrow has been moved to tonight.  Girls Varsity will play at Milan starting at 6:00 tonight; boys varsity will follow; and boys JV will start at 6:00 in the auxillary gym.  All games are at Milan tonight.

Sports Action

Congratulations to the girls bowling team on winning sectionals as well as Abby Kiefer on an individual victory at Sectionals.


Swimming is in action this week on Tuesday at Milan for the ORVC meet (6:00 start)and Saturday at Southwestern-Hanover (11 am start)


Girls JV and Varsity basketball are in action this week on Tuesday at South Dearborn, Thursday at Southwestern-Hanover, and home on Saturday to take on Milan. All games are a 6:00 JV start with varsity to follow.


Boys JV and Varsity basketball are in action this week on Wednesday at home taking on Switzerland County and Friday on the road at Milan.  All games are a 6:00 JV start with varsity to follow.

Upcoming Event(s)

Wednesday, January 16th is a two hour delay day.


Tutoring is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  If you need transportation home, it will be provided.  Tutoring lasts after school until 4 PM.
