Dr. Amy Miller

Vice President

District:  Brown & Shelby Townships

Member Since:  January 2021

Occupation: Doctor of Chiropractic- Miller Family Chiropractic and Ewing Chiropractic

Family: 4 children:  Ben- age 21 Marian University, Nick- age 20- NKU, Katie 18-Senior at SR, Marc-16 Junior at SR

Why I Serve:  I have been very involved in school activities since my kids were in grade school. I would always love to volunteer. I organized and coached soccer for years at the local Ripley County Soccer Club, and I am also the PTO president. I have been involved with the SR After Prom and I am also one of the original organizers of the Facebook Parent Page. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the SR school corporation and being a part of the important decisions that will impact our children and the future of our corporation. Most importantly, I believe that communicating and being present in the community and at SR events is important in order to connect with other parents. Hearing their concerns and seeing first hand what is needed, and then also making sure that we communicate all of the great things that we are doing here at South Ripley.

Kimberly Jolly

Secretary

District: Brown Township

Member Since:  January 2023

Occupation: District Coordinator at the Ripley County Soil and Water

Family: Married to Kyle; Children: Landon age 13 in 7th grade, Alex age 10 in 5th grade

Why I Serve: Being a South Ripley alumni, daughter of a former school board member, former SR Coach and Class Sponsor, wife to a Teacher/Coach, and a mother of two boys in the school system serving on the school board was an aspiration of mine for many years.  I serve for three reasons: student success, faculty and staff well being, and positive community culture.  The school system is only as strong as its weakest link, therefore I serve to encourage excellence in all areas of the corporation.  I serve to ensure we stand firm on strong morals and values, striving for mutual respect, accountability, and integrity across the corporation.  The school board is not a club you join, it’s a position that you accept to make a difference, and our students deserve board members that put them first.
