South Ripley Senior Katie Miller Awarded Full-Tuition Scholarship to Marian University

Versailles, IN – South Ripley High School is proud to announce that senior Katie Miller has been awarded a full-tuition scholarship to Marian University, where she plans to pursue a degree in special education. This prestigious scholarship recognizes Katie’s outstanding academic achievements, leadership skills, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.

Throughout her time at South Ripley, Katie has exemplified a strong commitment to education and service. Her passion for working with individuals with special needs has been evident through her involvement in school programs like “Champions Together”,  her volunteer work in our intensive academic classrooms, and leadership roles that promote inclusivity and support for all students.

“We are incredibly proud of Katie and all that she has accomplished,” said Derik Hutton, Principal of South Ripley High School. “Her dedication to education and helping others will make a lasting impact, and we have no doubt that she will thrive at Marian University.”

Marian University, located in Indianapolis, is known for its strong education programs and commitment to preparing future educators to make meaningful contributions to their communities. With this full-tuition scholarship, Katie will have the opportunity to further her education and pursue her dream of becoming a special education teacher.

Katie expressed her gratitude for the scholarship and the support she has received throughout her high school career.
