Tonight the SR School Board recognized SRO Eddie Rodriguez for being named the District 10 Regional Exceptional Service Award recipient by the Indiana School Resource Officers Association! Congrats, Officer Rodriguez!

The SR School Board & Admin Team held a very productive retreat at the Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg Riverfront campus today. We discussed progress on our strategic plan priorities, our Cognia Review report & learned about school finance with Damian Maggos from Raymond James. Great day!

We wrapped up the school year yesterday recognizing our South Ripley retirees and those leaving the profession. We also reflected on some of the many great things that happened at SR this year. Thank you and best wishes to our retirees! It's always a great day to be a Raider!

Tomorrow (5/16) is the last Kona Ice Day for this school year at SRES!

We've had a blast celebrating our Teacher Rock Stars this week! Thank you to Beck Properties for supplying our staff with DonutNV on Monday! Tuesday, the Bridge of Hope supplied cookies and Emily's Brew served up drinks! On Wednesday, our teachers received "Fan Mail" from students and goody bags from Hopewell Baptist! They also had the option to buy some yummy rolled ice cream from Dori's Premium Rolled Ice Cream. Today, there were "VIP Giveaways" in the VIP Lounge along with a Rock Star Popcorn Bar from South Ripley. We're honored to celebrate the best staff around!

Thank you to IDEM who helped conduct an earthworm lab for Mrs. Roepke's 5th grade science classes!

It's that time of year! SRES Awards Day is May 17. We can't wait to celebrate our students!

SRES would like to wish a happy principal's day to Mr. Lauber; the guy who stops short of nothing to maintain a positive atmosphere for our students (even if it means accepting a pet fish from a second-grade class last year). We're lucky to have him!
(For those wondering - yes, Mr. Lauber, the fish, still sits on his desk).

Attention SRES Sixth-Grade families: we can't wait to celebrate with you!

On School Bus Driver Appreciation Day we thank our awesome South Ripley Bus Drivers and transportation dept staff! Looking forward to another breakfast to honor them next week! Thank you, bus drivers!

Our SRES Math teachers are ready to crush ILEARN today!
