Our varsity boys basketball team defeated Orleans 62-49 at Southridge HS. We play tonight at 6:30 for the championship. Go Raiders!

The Raiders basketball team picked up a nice road win this afternoon at Batesville, 78-74. Leading the Raiders in double figures were:
Cole Henry 32 points
Blaine Ward 25 points
Drew Volz 12 points
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, against Orleans at Southridge.


Lady Raiders win big over Switzerland County, 58-34. Thank you to the Indiana Army National Guard for sponsoring the game as the girls wore their uniforms. Go Big Green!


Last night we recognized the exemplary board service of longtime school board members Carol Holzer and Jeff Cornett. Each served three full terms on the board and completed their service last night. Thank you for your leadership and dedication to South Ripley Schools!



At last night's school board meeting the board recognized Milken Educator Award winner, Katie Lanter, and welcomed new JH science teacher, Preston Davis. Congrats to Katie and Preston.



Congratulations to Elizabeth McKittrick on receiving the Ben Franklin Presidential Scholarship. She will be awarded $10,000 every year for the four years of her enrollment in college. Of 116 applicants for this scholarship, she was only 1 of 10 to receive it! Go Elizabeth!


Congratulations to SRHS juniors Aubrey Werner, Dominic Wiley, Avery Andrews, and Jocelyn Meador for being named "Rising Stars" for their academic achievements by the Indiana Association of School Principals! Way to go, Raiders!


SR is beyond proud of Mrs. Katie Lanter for being named a National Milken Educator Award winner! Mrs. Lanter will be traveling to Los Angeles to speak about her educational journey and spread her knowledge to educators across the U.S.! She was also awarded a $25,000 prize!

SR worked together with Ripley County Court Services to provide our students an inspiring message of hope, determination, and perseverance today with a presentation by Tony Hoffman, professional BMX racer and Olympian!

Angel Tunny and Mrs. Hyatt have made the trip to Washington D.C. to attend the National Student Leadership Academy. We are proud of Angel as she is the President of the Indiana JAG Chapter! She will participate in leadership development and a variety of amazing experiences too.





South Ripley would like to thank Doug Meyer with Giving Hearts a Hand, along with MCORE Foundation for being on site and providing ECG and limited echocardiograms for some of our students. Services like these help to minimize the risk of sudden cardiac arrests. We appreciate you!
