Our JV Lady Raiders finished up their volleyball season tonight by defeating Henryville, 2-1. Great season, ladies!


Our Lady Raiders came up short tonight at the Rising Sun soccer sectional, 6-1. We have a great group of young ladies that represented SR very well. Keep your heads up, ladies, SR is proud of you!


Vogt Farms found it best to reschedule the kindergarten field trip tomorrow because it is too wet. It will now be Monday, October 21. We apologize for the inconvenience!


Conferences begin tomorrow night at SRES. There are fun activities to participate in throughout the building as well. The So Loved Closet will be here, you can pay to drive a robot, AND Book Fair will be taking place in the Blue Collaboratory! The hours for Book Fair are Tuesday and Thursday from 4-7 during conferences.


The SR SENIORS are out in full force at the Versailles Pumpkin Show Parade!! A little rain won't keep these kids from celebrating their senior year! GO BIG GREEN!


Big day at SR as our elementary and JH/HS became Project Adam Certified Schools! Our emergency response teams are certified responders to sudden cardiac arrest situations. We take pride in providing safe schools for all kids! We are only the THIRD district in the state of Indiana to achieve this certification!



Sixth grade is requesting donations of cleaned-out 2 liter bottles for a project. If you have any to donate, you can bring them to the SRES office. Thanks in advance!

Our kindergartners took their annual field trip to check out the Pumpkin Show today. They're excited for this week!


Our 5th graders experienced a field trip to Big Oaks Wildlife Refuge /Krueger Lake for Science/ STEM hands on learning. Students experienced stations on ecosystems, outdoor safety, dog training, bird watching, water system and bee habitats. It was a great day!





Heroic Moment at SRHS:
We are incredibly proud of SRO Ed Rodriguez, who acted swiftly and courageously to save a student. When this student began choking during breakfast, Officer Rodriguez didn't hesitate and performed the Heimlich maneuver successfully! Way to go, Ed!
